AeroStar welcome pilots from the Top of the World!
The Australian Pilot Training Alliance (APTA) has partnered with AeroStar to make Boeing 737 Type Rating training available to Australian students!
This program provides a pathway for Australian pilots to gain access to US flight and simulator training to meet the rising need for B737 pilots worldwide.
This program allows pilots to complete the bulk of their training in Australia. Then they complete the program with an 8-day visit to AeroStar in Kissimmee, Florida to study with US instructors and AeroStar’s full-motion, Level D simulators.
Access to FAA / CASA conversion courses and type ratings hosted by an established Australian ATO (Approved training Organization) with an advanced aircraft and simulation capabilities. The ATO even offers a B737NG FTD to best prepare their customers for better success in type rating programs at AeroStar.
This makes APTA a fantastic option for pilots from that region of the world to bridge into a US license or a jet type rating course.
For more information, complete this form on the ATPA web site.
Cross Crew Qualification CCQ: is a process which allows a pilot who is qualified on the P-8 Poseidon to meet fast track experience requirements of the B737 type rating course.
And it is VA approved too!!!
For pilots looking to obtain their ATP and B737NG type who are already qualified on the P-8 Poseidon.
Duration – This course can be completed in 11 to 14 days and includes:
Applicants must possess either an FAA Private or Commercial Pilot License with Multi-engine (non-centerline thrust) and Instrument ratings, or an ATP.
The ATP certificate will be issued upon completion of this course for those who meet all regulatory requirements.
